Gary Bradshaw is a life long resident of Coffee County. Born in Enterprise to the late Marvin and Wynell Bradshaw, he graduated from Elba High School in 1979 and attended Troy State University on a football scholarship. After graduation from Troy in 1983, Gary went to work for Alfa Insurance where he became widely known throughout the Wiregrass for his honesty, integrity, and professionalism. He continued to work for Alfa while attending Jones School of Law and received his law license in 1995.
In private practice since January 1997, he has since handled over 2,500 cases, more that 1000 bench trials and hearings, and dozens of jury trials, both civil and criminal. With considerable trial experience behind him as both Plaintiff's counsel and as a defense attorney, he has also served as Prosecutor for the Municipal Courts of Kinston and Elba for more that 10 years, and has served special appointments as a Municipal Judge for the Municipal Court of Enterprise and as a temporary District Judge for Coffee County.
Gary will bring a zealous and aggressive approach to the prosecution of crime and a bold change to the Office of the District Attorney. Improvement is needed in almost all areas of the District Attorney's Office including the investigation and prosecution of cases, collection of child support and bad checks, and the deferred prosecution program. Gary believes the pursuit of justice deserves moral and ethical integrity and fiscal accountability.
He is married to the former Monica Motley, 1st grade teacher at Enterprise City Schools for the past 14 years. They have 4 children; Brandon Davis and daughter-in-law Katie of Auburn, Brock Davis and daughter-in-law Holly of Enterprise, Brad Davis, currently attending Troy University, and Braden Bradshaw, in the 8th grade at Dauphin Junior High School.
An active member of the community, for the past 14 years Gary has coached sports for Enterprise Parks and Recreation and as a family of faith, the Bradshaws are members and servants at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
